Or am I helpful in skimming through all the crap and picking out the good stuff? At least I don't do the opposite or at least I hope so. Or at least I'm not forcing my opinion on people or at least I hope so. If that's the case, then I'll just escape to a sweet piece of real estate, say hi to my neighbor, Johnny Depp. Maybe he'll enjoy my strange sense of humor. Or I can use my scientific knowledge to help explain strange island compounds. If that doesn't work, maybe my musical abilities will impress him. But if I can't charm him, then I'll find the ultimate seclusion but toss to him a token of my appreciation for his time. I hope on the way to my new locale that I don't allow my roots disrupt the locals or that I find out how art really does imitate life. But at least when I return home, I'll know my strange encounters are just the beginning of the weirdness stirring up in the States.
